All Printing Techniques at a Glance

Every festival table set is customizable – whether as a promotional item or a theft deterrent. Decide how you want your beer garden table set to look and benefit from our many years of printing experience.

Screen print

Distinctive.Screen printing is ideal for lettering and simple logo designs with clear, defined lines. This technique is suitable for single-colour motifs on tables and benches. Unlike digital printing, natural wood colour is not required – pine and alpine stain versions can also be printed.

In the screen printing process, the design is chemically transferred onto a mesh screen, which is then placed over the wood. The ink is pressed through the screen onto the furniture using a squeegee. To protect the print from scratches and damage, it is applied between the second and third layers of glaze. The maximum print size is 25 × 25 cm and must be single-colour.

Ink Printing

Simple. This popular alternative to branding is permanent and meets the latest technological printing standards. We can apply your name, symbols, or promotional text in up to four positions – ideal for marking the underside of the panels or as a cost-effective advertising surface on the front edge.

Burn-In

Branded. Using a hot iron stamp, letters and symbols are burned into the underside of the panels. The heat darkens the imprint and slightly embosses it into the wood. Text is limited to 3 lines of 18 characters each (including spaces).

Digital Printing

Unmissable.Let your creativity run wild – with digital printing, there are virtually no design limits. Large, full-colour logos, images, and photos are printed with brilliant colour intensity between two layers of varnish, offering optimal protection from water, scratches, and UV light. Due to production requirements, only natural-coloured sets can be digitally printed. Please note: white cannot be printed, and digital printing is available for a minimum order of 20 sets.

First of all, two coats of glaze are applied on the natural-colored set. Then the desired motif is printed in high-quality colors. For technical reasons, the color white cannot be used. So instead of white, the wooden surface remains visible after the printing. Once the motif has been applied, everything is sealed with another layer of glaze in order to make the furniture weather-resistant and to protect the printed motif in the best possible way.

HotCoating®

For sealing printed wooden surfaces, we optionally apply HotCoating®, an innovative premium coating originally developed for the flooring industry. Unlike conventional lacquers, HotCoating® is free from emissions and solvents, resistant to UV rays, weather and abrasion, and extremely flexible – allowing it to compensate for natural wood movement.
